You have a few podcasts in the tin and you are ready to start reeling in the subscribers. To get those subscribers you will need to publish your podcast files, usually, to your blog. After posting your podcast files to your website, you will need to submit your feed to iTunes.
While most websites are pretty savvy these days and auto generate your podcast feeds, not all are perfect. When you submit your feed to iTunes it will need to validate the feed for all its settings. Often, the feed will not validate. When this happens it can be frustrating because it rarely gives you detailed information about the errors and how to fix them. So, prior to submitting your feed to iTunes, it’s best to use a feed validator like CastFeedValidator for its exceptional ability to tell you how to fix the errors.
