Blogs That Should Have Podcasts Title Image

We obviously love podcasts, but we also love reading other people’s thoughts on their blogs.

In Part 1 of “Blogs That Should Have Podcasts“, we share a list of some of our favorite blogs that are fun to read and are incredibly useful, but they’ve never taken the leap into podcasting.  We encourage you to head over to their blogs, check them out and leave them a comment suggesting they start a podcast.

Have a blog that you wish would get into podcasting? Leave us a comment below and we’ll check them out!

Topping the list is one of the Top 100 Hiking Blogs in the World.  This lady is one badass hiker and I don’t mean in the typical extreme ways many of us think.  This woman, along with her four-legged companion, has faced her fears of heights, being alone on the trail and fighting creatures of the night.  If only she would face her fear of being behind the mic.

Cal Newport

Cal Newport is a computer science professor at Georgetown University. He’s been blogging at calnewport.com since 2007 and now writes about the intersection of technology and society, particularly the impact of new technologies on our ability to perform productive work, as well as on our ability to lead interesting and satisfying lives. #3 NerdFitness

NerdFitness describes themselves as “a community of underdogs, misfits, and mutants” designed to help people get in shape and lose weight in an unconventional way: by turning it into a game! Their blog posts are incredibly fun and engaging and we think they could add an awesome new level by leveling up their site with a podcast touching on the stories of their users, tips, and tricks for getting into shape or something along those lines. NerdFitness, it’s time to LEVEL UP your site with a new podcast!

#4 Nomadic Matt

Nomadic Matt

Right up there with Hiking Girl With Dog is Nomadic Matt, New York Times best-selling author of How to Travel the World on $50 a Day. Matt’s travel website and blog is packed full of awesome information on traveling around the world. But, we think adding a podcast to the mix would be amazing and would have a huge listener base!
