We obviously love podcasts, but we also love reading other people’s thoughts on their blogs.
In Part 2 of “Blogs That Should Have Podcasts“, we share a list of some of our favorite blogs that are fun to read and are incredibly useful, but they’ve never taken the leap into podcasting. We encourage you to head over to their blogs, check them out and leave them a comment suggesting they start a podcast.
Have a blog that you wish would get into podcasting? Leave us a comment below and we’ll check them out!
Founded by a Green Beret, GORUCK is an American brand with Special Forces roots. Excellence, toughness, and adaptability are the pillars of their way of life. They build gear, organize events and a whole lot more. The one thing they don’t seem to have is… a podcast. Their blog showcases incredible stories from their community. We’d love to hear some them recorded in a podcast!
#7 Danner Boots
Danner boots are an American staple. Founded in Wisconsin in 1932, they make some serious boots! Their blog has some great photos and stories on it, showcasing more than just their boots. We’d love to see these stories and more captured in a regular podcast.
No, they don’t have a blog, but they are one of the last American made netting companies. They make nets that literally protect America’s coasts. The story of how they got there is definitely worth the time of telling it and more in a podcast!
#9 Dr. Bronner’s All-One Soap
Dr. Bronner’s was founded in 1948 by Emanuel Bronner, a third- generation master soapmaker from a German-Jewish soapmaking family. He used the labels on his superb ecological soaps to spread his message that we must realize our unity across religious & ethnic divides or perish: “We are All-One or None!” Still family-owned and run, Dr. Bronner’s honors its founder’s vision by continuing to make socially & environmentally responsible products of the highest quality, and by dedicating our profits to help make a better world. All-One! Their blog continues this vision with stories, tips and tricks and more… but it’s missing something… you guessed it: a podcast! We’d love to see them take their vision to the next level by giving us the audio version of their stories and insights!
#10 Stetson Hats
Stetson’s been around for over 150 years and embodies the “Spirit of The West”. Their blog doesn’t miss any of this but dives deep into the stories of their customers and how they use their products. It’s really not difficult to see how this could be the perfect place for these stories to be told in a podcast. Stetson, we’re waiting to listen.
